Many of my clients approach me because they feel that there is something overshadowing their life and holding them back. Sometimes this “thing” will be well known to them: shyness, low self-esteem, feeling down. Other times the “thing” that’s hanging over them will be more difficult to identify. In my work I use both psychotherapy and hypnosis in order to really shed light on that  “thing”. And then help them move forward in their lives with an increased vitality and a greater sense of purpose.

Anxiety

It’s usual from time to time to have concerns about the future. The world has many challenges. When these thoughts become burdensome and seem to cloud all that we do, it may be helpful to seek counselling. Therapy helps us to understand the root cause of our anxiety and provides tool on how to better manage stress and anxiety and in many cases to eliminate it from our lives completely.

Pain

The experience of pain is different to each individual. I will find out more about your pain, what is causing it and how we can work together to manage it better. Hypnotherapy can be a very useful tool in treating migraine, eczema and IBS. Chronic pain is more difficult to treat but hypnosis can certainly be used to manage the clients experience of pain, allowing them to lead a more normal life.

Hypnotherapy is particularly useful in helping people overcome very specific challenges in their life: nervousness surrounding public speaking, a driving test, audition or job interview. It’s also a proven technique for breaking habits, (including smoking), and overcoming phobias. While many of these issues can usually be solved in two or three sessions.
